Heat escaping from the darkened street, taking for granted all the moonlight, Flowers in the falling rain Flowers in the mystic garden Water touch the ground, burst open Sweetest perfume, takes root and stands up in the rain Bleeding hearts, forget me nots, Violets, Clovers, Birds of paradise Flowers in the falling rain, Flowers in the mystic garden Come together, In the sky, to make a river of diamonds, dripping leaves, wake up seeds, Open your petals and shake. Roses for posies, babies breath, Pitter patter, splash of colour, do a dance for one another!

Where the water meets the land, I walk with you those little footsteps, haunting my imagination oo oo oo that drift wood, laying in the sand What can i take, what can i leave behind, what can i take, for you to find, Sweet dreams, i know when i walk on the beach, Sweet Dreams, always just beyond reach, Dream on with me, be my love and take me back, into the sea, Eternally Pick up a shell and see what's hiding in it, drifting through the night, I know you better than stars in the moonlight lower your eyes to mine, shells in the shallows where waves are breaking, what can i take, what can i leave behind, What can i take for you to find. Gonna wanna see horizons, swimming salty water, Feel the push and pull of the tide, ooh child Throw your arms around me, and tell me the truth when you're heart is racing, what can i take, what can i leave behind, What can i take for you to find, Sweet dreams, i know when i walk on the beach, Sweet Dreams, always just beyond reach, Dream on with me, be my love and take me back, into the sea, Eternally

about

Sugar Fed Leopards is celebrating ten years of making music together, which is why they dedicate their latest album, ‘Love. Be In It.’, to all the audiences and venues that have joined them on their love quest over the past decade or so.

The album is an ode to the spirit of friendship, to music and to nightlife, as well as 'love' as a verb and a way of living shared energy. Could there be any better reason to make an album?

Ultimately, ‘Love. Be In It’ is an invitation, urging everyone to find the mood, get into it, get off the couch, come to the show and be in the music. It is also a command, a direct reference to the ‘Life. Be in it’ government fitness campaign from the 80s, inspiring people to get love-fit through real connection and being moved by music.

The reference also makes its way into the music, with a healthy dose of 80s sounds and feels throughout. The love story starts right from the first track 'T.Y.O.T. (Take You Out Tonight)', dedicated to loose nights with your best friends.

The steamy nights on the dance floor with 'Old Hand, New Glove', the absurd fun of 'Warm Toddy', the shared 'Beach Dreams' and the chugging Bee Gee-esque, disco-infused ‘Need You Now’ have all come together to form a slick record, while still retaining the scraggly rock n roll of the bands’ live shows.

Nick Herrera, Lachlan Carrick and Paul Maybury were brought in on mixing duties to make the album their most polished piece of work yet.
